Guided Tours

These are our specialty tours, following either race events or tracing famous cycling routes. We treat you like royalty but you don’t pay the price. Our 2012 guided tour lineup is outstanding so come join us!

Our group sizes vary, but average around a dozen. Our guided tour philosophy is that you should take the pace that is right for you! If you want to go fast, great! If you want to take it easy, great! We follow professional bike races, but we also emphasize the natural beauty and culture of the area you are traveling through.  All levels of cyclists are welcome.

Our 2012 tours are:

• Tour of California & Wine Country: May 12 through 20
• RAID Pyrenees: June 23 through July 3
• July Alpes, Pyrenees & Provence – Follow the big race!
• Long: July 8 through 22 – We will be going to all three major French mountain ranges during the big race – the Alpes, Pyrenees, and Provence!
• Alpes option: July 8 through 15 – Can you only make it for a week?  Join us in the Alpes.
• Pyrenees & Provence option: July 15 through 22 – Want to see the decisive stages?  They will happen in the Pyrenees.  Plus we will be taking a foray into Provence!

What is included:

• All hotel accommodations – mostly 3 star but also some 2, depending on the tour and location.
• Luggage transfers
• Meals as explained in the tour detail pages.  Usually this means all breakfasts, no lunches, and some dinners.
• Detailed route notes, maps, and tourist information
• On the road support.  We have a vehicle on the road with a mechanic, and carrying your food and extra water.
• GPS courses to upload to your GPS device.

What is not included:

• Transportation to and from the start and finish locations
• Bikes, but ask if you want to rent a bike.
• Travel and Health Insurance
• Admission to site-seeing venues, unless explicitly mentioned as included
